Model management

Manage metadata and pricing for every model on the platform

Maintain model names, descriptions, vendors, tags and pricing ratios here, and sync the model list from upstream channels. After signing in as an admin, open "Admin area → Model management" in the left sidebar, or go to `/console/models` directly. For what users see, check the Model Square at `/models`. The web console page follows the reference design and is still being wired up.

Tip: These settings mainly control how models are presented to users in the Model Square; they do not affect actual model calls or routing. To configure real call behavior, go to Channel management and set up channels and the ability table.

Sync upstream models

Preview sync results

Before clicking "Sync", you can call GET /api/models/sync_upstream/preview to preview the models that will be added or updated from channels, so you don't overwrite metadata by mistake.

Run the sync

  • After reviewing the preview, run POST /api/models/sync_upstream
  • Sync merges model names from each channel's models field; it does not create channel routes automatically
  • Configure channel models and the ability table for real call routing in Channel management

Search and filter

Search models

  • "Search model name" filters by model_name keyword
  • "Search vendor" filters by vendor or vendor name
  • Click "Search" to call GET /api/models?keyword=; "Reset" restores the default GET /api/models list

Unconfigured models

Click "Unconfigured models" or call GET /api/models/missing to list models that are enabled on channels but not yet in the metadata table, so you can fill in descriptions and pricing in bulk.
