Two skills, two jobs
easyapi-auth handles login and configuration; easyapi-studio handles generation and lookups and can start the login flow itself. Both share ~/.easyapi/config.json, so you sign in once.

Where is the API key stored?
In ~/.easyapi/config.json on your machine, readable only by your user account. It is never uploaded to a third party.
Does the key end up in the chat context?
No. The skill reads the config only when calling the EasyAPI API; the conversation contains just your prompt and the results.
Do I need pip packages or Node?
Not at runtime. The skills only use the Python 3.8+ standard library; Node ≥ 22.20 and git are only needed to install via npx skills add.
What about moving to a new machine?
Run easyapi-auth again to sign in, or copy ~/.easyapi/config.json to the same path on the new machine.
It is installed but does not work — what now?
Confirm the skills appear in your tool's skills list and restart the session; check that ~/.easyapi/config.json exists; then sign in once more.
